A Weekend at Historic GeerCrest Farm
in partnership with Homer Davenport Community Festival
in Silverton, Oregon.

Saturday August 6 – 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday August 7 – 10 am to 5 pm

GeerCrest will be open for two days filled with family-friendly activities to celebrate the world famous cartoonist, Homer Davenport, whose grandparents settled the farm in 1848.

Our booth at Coolidge-McClaine Park during Homer Davenport Days offers information about the farm and the opportunity for children to make their own butter, which they can eat on locally made bread.

Don’t miss the free shuttle ride from Coolidge-McClaine Park in Silverton to GeerCrest Farm. You may also drive to the farm by car to join the celebration of local history in the Waldo Hills.

Silent Auction & Hoedown With music by The Pagan Jug Band

Save the date! The 2nd Annual Farm Benefit with Silent Auction & Hoedown featuring The Pagan Jug Band!

$5 - 20 suggested donation.
$20 - 30 suggested including camping and brunch.

Local food and beverages will be available for purchase.

South Falls Lodge in Silver Falls State Park

This new event will showcase demonstrations, exhibits, and activities regarding the history of the Silver Falls region. GeerCrest Farm & Historical Society will have an informational booth at the event where we will have our butter churning activity for children.

$5 day use fee for the State Park.
